Commentary: Flatland Reading Questions

 

            Many of these questions were adapted from Ian Stewart’s annotated version of Flatland.  My students enjoyed the book and the questions seemed helpful for reading and discussion.  Originally, the questions were distributed in three separate handouts  due more to my not having time to write them all at once than for any pedagogical reason.  Unfortunately, I cannot find an electronic or a paper copy of the second handout.  Thus, there are no questions included on Chapters 13-16.  Sorry about that.  Next time I teach the class, I’ll need to rewrite some.  7/05
