Commentary: More Number Theory Problems: Conjectures and Patterns

 

            This is a fun sheet.  The incorrect conjectures are based on student misconceptions I’ve seen.  The more famous conjectures are as simply stated as the student ones.  This is a good sheet for reinforcing that it only takes one counterexample to disprove a conjecture, but it takes an argument to prove one.
