Multiplication Table in Excel

 

            Make a 20 x 20 multiplication table in Excel.  Be sure to use labels, such as the following:

To change the column width, click here to highlight:

 

 

and then go to the format menu, choose column and width and then change the width.

 

To continue an arithmetic progression:

Absolute References:  Put a $ before the column letter or row number (or both) so it won’t change when dragged.   Examples:  $A$5 always refers to cell A5 (even when the formula is dragged to another cell), whereas $A5 will fix column A, but the row will change and A$5 will fix row 5, but the column will change.
