Commentary: Guidelines for TA's

 

            This is a nice handout to help orient TA’s (most of whom are sophomores).  At the beginning, many feel that they are always supposed to know the answer and are nervous that they won’t; the sheet helps put them more at ease.   Last semester some students suggested that I add something about moving on to another problem if students get too frustrated; I will solicit other suggestions before the next draft.  7/05
